Partners
The Mayor Daley’s Bicycling
Ambassador Program partners with several organizations
to increase the extent of our bicycle safety
outreach.
Chicago Park District
The Chicago
Park District generously
sponsors the Junior Ambassador program. Because
of our partnership with the Chicago Park District,
we are able to work with the Junior Ambassadors
for six weeks in the summer. The Junior Ambassadors
focus on peer-to-peer youth outreach at Chicago
Park District day camps.
In 2007, 7 Junior Ambassadors helped Mayor
Daley’s
Bicycling Ambassadors reach nearly 15,000 youth
with bicycle safety messages in just six weeks
After School Matters
After
School Matters (ASM)
is a not-for-profit organization the runs after-school
job training programs for teens. Because of
our partnership with After School Matters,
we are able to provide teenager apprentices
with the skills to work as Junior Ambassadors
in the summer.
